Getting away with murder...
An unhappily married housewife rents out a spare room on AirBnB to try to find someone to fix her husband problem.
This concept came to me when I booked a stay in someone's living room. Nothing sordid happened, but I did get this fun story out of it!
I wanted the visuals for this comic to read like photos on a rental listing. Wide shots of empty rooms devoid of people. You never see the narrator in this story. Just her living spaces.
Format: 22 pages plus cover, 5.5"x4.25", black and white
Adapted into a short film
This comic was the basis of a short film of the same name, which I wrote and directed.
