Lauren Norby is an artist from Missoula, Montana. His art takes a variety of forms, including zines, comics, video, and improvised music. He served on the board of directors of Zootown Arts Community Center, a Montana-based arts non-profit, for over a decade. Lauren works in the film and television industry, and has worn many hats, from editor to production designer. “$55 Private Room in a Safe Quiet Neighborhood” is his first film as director. It was adapted from one of his zines.
